Quincy Christmas Poster Contest
For over 10 years, Quincy Access Television has sponsored and organized the annual Quincy Christmas Poster Contest for elementary school students. Using the theme of the Quincy Christmas Parade as inspiration, students in Grades 1-5 put their talents to work to create a poster that exemplifies the holiday season in Quincy. In order to allow every student the opportunity, QATV supplies paper to every student in Quincy’s public elementary schools and the Quincy Catholic Academy. Posters are judged in two categories (Grades 1-3 and Grades 4-5) by members of the Quincy Art Association, with winners earning a cash prize and the opportunity to ride in the Quincy Christmas Parade. QATV is happy to organize this longtime Quincy tradition and highlight the talent of Quincy’s students.
