Internships

Internships at Quincy Access Television are available to college students seeking more experience in their field.  Internships require a minimum of 10 hours per week.  All candidates should have video production experience.  Experience using camcorders and video editing is a plus.

Internships are available in, but not limited to, the following categories:

Video Production
Students will work on QATV studio and field productions.  Duties include assisting on studio productions (audio, graphics, camera, etc), covering events in the field and editing programs and/or segments for air.
 

Radio Production
Students will work on "AM Quincy", QATV's morning audio show.  Duties include gathering local news, editing audio, and assembling news/features packages for air.  *Position requires early morning work hours*
 

Sports Production
Students will record/edit local sporting events, create hi-light reels, and produce feature stories on local athletes/teams.  *Position requires evening work hours*
 

Marketing/Public Relations
Students will create press releases, help maintain & post content to social media outlets and work with staff in creating publications to help promote QATV.
