Quincy Access Television (QATV) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to train the residents of Quincy in television production skills so they may produce their own programming or volunteer on the productions of others. In addition, the staff of QATV produces programming to keep the residents of Quincy informed, educated and entertained. Daily news, high school sports, events and government meeting coverage are just a sample of the offerings seen on QATV's channels, website and social media outlets.
QATV is primarily funded through fees paid by Quincy cable subscribers of Comcast to conduct this mission. However, as residents choose to "cut the cord" and stop subscribing to cable television (subscribers are down 44% since 2021), QATV's funding has seen a dramatic decrease over recent years
